How to Write Christmas Gift Tags in Welsh

A Welsh message can make even a small Christmas gift feel more personal. You do not need a long sentence: a greeting, the recipient’s name and a warm sign-off are often enough.
Use the phrases below as building blocks, then adapt them to suit the person receiving the gift.

5. Designing mobile-friendly, readable tags
Keep the text short enough to read at a glance. Use a clear typeface or handwriting, plenty of space and strong contrast between the words and background.
Welsh symbols such as Y Ddraig Goch (the Red Dragon), a daffodil, a lovespoon or celyn (holly) can add a distinctive detail.

Write one tag each for a friend, a couple, a child, a family and a colleague. Change the name and closing deliberately rather than copying the same formula five times.
Keep I (“to”) and Oddi wrth (“from”) visible if the presents will be mixed together.
