What does the £30 one-to-one lesson include?

£30 is the total price for one live 60-minute one-to-one Welsh lesson on Zoom. There are no registration, booking or membership fees.

The lesson is adapted to your level, goals and interests and includes guided speaking, listening and pronunciation practice, clear explanations, vocabulary and grammar in context, correction, feedback and relevant materials used during the session.

Can I enquire if I am a complete beginner?

Yes. No prior Welsh is needed. Tell us that you are a complete beginner and what you would like to learn.

Can I ask about one-to-one and group lessons?

Yes. The confirmed £30 package is one live 60-minute one-to-one lesson. Group lesson prices and availability are discussed separately before you decide.

Who teaches the Welsh lessons?

Your tutor is a qualified teacher and native Welsh speaker from South Wales, with a degree in Welsh, a PGCE and at least five years of teaching experience. Lessons can support South Welsh forms while recognising accepted Northern and standard alternatives where relevant.

What do I need to join?

Lessons take place live on Zoom. You need your own internet connection and a suitable device.

When are Welsh lessons available?

Availability varies, so please send an enquiry with the days and times that suit you. You will normally receive a reply within two working days.

Who can submit a lesson enquiry?

Lesson enquiries must be submitted by an adult aged 18 or over. Welsh Words is not currently accepting or confirming bookings for learners under 18.
